DLBP attends Founder’s Day at the Royal Hospital Chelsea

At DLBP we felt extremely privileged to have been invited to attend Founder’s Day on 9th June; the highlight of the Royal Hospital Chelsea’s calendar.

Founders Day, held annually at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, commemorates the founding of the Royal Hospital by King Charles II in 1681. In keeping with tradition, the Chelsea Pensioners gathered in full dress, including their iconic scarlet uniforms, in the central quadrangle on the grounds. Accompanied by a marching band, The Chelsea Pensioners paraded around the square following an inspection; this year undertaken by Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.

We are proud of our long-standing relationship with the Royal Hospital Chelsea, having secured a wide range of planning permissions on their behalf, from structural changes to unique temporary events. We are exceptionally grateful to have attended Founder’s Day this year, and look forwarding to continuing our relationship with this fine institution.
