DLBP is extremely pleased to have secured planning approval for this year’s edition of The Treasure House Fair at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, from 27 June to 2 July 2024.
Following the first edition of the event in 2024, for which DLBP secured planning permission for, the organisers sought some changes to the size and design of the temporary structures, the parking arrangements, and event dates. To regularise these minor changes in planning, DLBP prepared a minor material amendment application to vary the original permission.
DLBP acted as project lead by working closely with the organisers to ensure all necessary changes would be captured in the application; coordinating a team of technical consultants that include specialists in matters of acoustics, arboriculture, event management and highways to ensure all technical matters were considered and addressed in the submission; and preparing a supporting statement justifying why the proposal should be approved.
We were therefore delighted the Council agreed with our assessment in permitting the application. This will ensure The Treasure House Fair will continue to provide such significant contributions to the Royal Hospital Chelsea, and the cultural life of Kensington and Chelsea more widely.
